Bowling Ball Fitting and Drilling
At Lightning Strikes Pro Shop, we offer fully customized drilling services that are tailored to give you the best possible fit in your bowling ball, thereby maximizing comfort and performance. We will take precise measurements of your hand to ensure that each bowling ball that you get drilled with us fits your hand like a glove. We offer conventional drilling, fingertip grips, thumb slugs, Turbo Switch Grips, and more!
There’s a lot more to drilling a bowling ball than just putting three holes in it. For our performance bowling balls, we provide layouts that will match up with our your release and rev rate, helping you to get the most out of your bowling ball arsenal.
Surface Adjustments and Rejuvenation
If you start to notice that your bowling ball doesn’t quite hook the way it used to, it might be time for a thorough resurfacing and/or rejuvenation. Using our specialized equipment, we can remove the lane oil that your bowling ball has absorbed and clean up its surface to get it looking like new again.
We also offer bowling ball sanding and polishing to change the shape of your bowling ball’s hook as it goes down the lane.
Plugging and Re-drilling
Lightning Strikes Pro Shop is just as good at plugging holes as we are at drilling them! If you have an old ball that no longer fits, we can fill the holes and re-drill them for your new hand size. We can also plug large gashes that may have been left behind from malfunctioning lane equipment.
Whether it’s a size adjustment or a damage repair, we can typically match the plug to the original bowling ball color fairly closely so that you’ll barely notice it’s there!
